Red lentils are gently cooked and refined with tomatoes, coconut milk, and select spices such as ginger, curry, and garam masala to create a wonderfully balanced dish. Mildly spicy, creamy, and pleasantly filling.
The dal is not spicy, but finely balanced – with a light freshness from the lemon and a pleasant depth from the spices.
An honest, vegan dish with character – hand-cooked in our delicatessen kitchen in North Frisia.
